The Northampton County District Attorney, Stephen G. Baratta, announces the arrest of Jorge Joel Garcia Guzman, of Maryland, and Maykol Jeffrie Goris Hiciano, of New York, after a vehicle stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 20,000 fentanyl pills.
On October 29, 2025, Pennsylvania State Police conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 78, milepost 73.1 in Glendon Borough, Northampton County. Troopers identified Goris Hiciano as the driver and Gomez Guzman as his passenger. Goris Hiciano gave troopers consent to search the vehicle.
