Court Case Lookup Guide

You can check the status of your court case online by following these simple steps:

1. Visit the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System Web Portal:
   https://ujsportal.pacourts.us/CaseSearch
2. You’ll land on the Common Pleas Court Docket Sheet page.
   Locate the Search Type dropdown and select OTN.
3. After the page refreshes, enter the OTN number you received at your preliminary hearing.
4. Click Search.
   Your case will appear as a single row near the bottom of the page.
5. Hover over the blue magnifying glass icon on the left side of the row and click Docket Sheet when it appears.
6. The docket sheet will open in a new view, showing:
   • Past court dates and actions
   • Upcoming hearings and updates
7. Use the dropdown at the top of the docket sheet to view definitions of legal terms you may see listed.

Please note: It may take 2 to 4 weeks after your preliminary hearing for your case to appear in the system.
