Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta announces that Ricardo Sylvester has pleaded guilty to the charge of Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, and has been sentenced to 4½ to 9 years in state prison.
On January 26, 2024, the Easton Police Special Response Unit executed a search warrant at Sylvester’s residence on S. Greenwood Avenue in Easton, following an ongoing investigation. Sylvester was present during the warrant execution. Upon entering the bathroom, detectives observed that the toilet tank lid had been removed and several small rubber bands were found scattered on the floor. It was determined that, upon the police’s entry, Sylvester had attempted to dispose of narcotics by flushing them down the toilet.
