Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta announces that Matthew Torres of Bethlehem has been sentenced to a total of 4 years to 11 years and 8 months in connection with a fatal accident that claimed the life of his front-seat passenger.
On August 4, 2024, Bethlehem City Police responded to a fatal vehicle crash in the 1600 block of Stefko Boulevard. Torres sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, while his front-seat passenger, Leanna Farraj, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
