Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta announces an Attempted Homicide charge against Paul R. Williams, age 61, of Dresher, Pennsylvania, in connection with a shooting in the late afternoon of Friday, August 28, 2026, in Freemansburg Borough.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, Freemansburg Borough Police Department was dispatched to 431 Clearfield Street on a report of shots fired. The dispatch included a description of the shooter. On arrival, police encountered the adult male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the wrist area.
