On July 3, 2025, Colonial Regional Police responded to a residence In Hanover Township after receiving a report of a child drowning in a pool. The child was promptly removed from the pool, and CPR was administered until EMS arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, police learned that the child was being transported to the nearest hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, the child succumbed to his Injuries.
Following a thorough Investigation by Colonial Regional Police and the Northampton County Detectives, the Northampton County Office of the District Attorney has concluded that this was an accidental drowning death. There was no criminal conduct and no charges will be filed.
