District Attorney Stephen Baratta has announced the arrest of Samuel Sasso, age 25, of Nazareth following a traffic stop that led to the seizure of multiple firearms. Sasso did not have a license to carry a firearm concealed on his person or vehicle.
On July 15, 2025, the Nazareth Borough Police initiated a traffic stop of the Lexus vehicle driven by Sasso because the vehicle had an expired registration. During the stop, police discovered that Sasso had a loaded handgun in the driver side door pocket
