District Attorney Stephen Baratta announces the arrest of Ashton Jordan Thomas of Stewartsville, New Jersey, in connection with the shooting that occurred on August 8, 2025, at Sizzling Bites in Bethlehem. Thomas is being charged with two counts of Attempted Criminal Homicide, two counts of Aggravated Assault for causing or attempting to cause seriously bodily injury with a deadly weapon, two counts of Simple Assault, eight counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Possessing Instruments of Crime, and Firearms not to be Carried Without a License.
